                Public Coast Pre-Auction Seminar
                          Venue Change
                                                               

          There is a change of venue for the VHF Public Coast Pre-Auction Seminar scheduled for
Tuesday, October 20, 1998.  The Public Coast Seminar that was scheduled to be held at the ANA
Hotel, Washington, D.C. will now be held at the FCC Auction Site, 2 Massachusetts Avenue,
N.W. Washington, D.C.

     

     The seminar will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. 

     All of the Pre-Auction deadlines will remain in effect:

Short Form Application (FCC Form 175)             November 2, 1998;  5:30 p.m. ET
Upfront Payments (via wire transfer)              November 16, 1998; 6:00 p.m. ET
Orders for Remote Bidding Software   November 17, 1998; 5:30 p.m. ET
Mock Auction                       December 1, 1998

     * The auction will commence on December 3, 1998.
