Amendment of Parts 0, 1, 13, 22, 24, 26, 27, 80, 87, 90, 95, 97, and 101 of the Commission's Rules to facilitate the development and use of the Universal Licensing System in the Wireless Telecommunications Services.
In an Order adopted September 17, 1998, the FCC facilitates its implementation of the Universal Licensing System (ULS), and consolidates, revises, and streamlines rules governing application procedures for radio services licensed by the WTB.

On September 17, 1998, the FCC adopted rules that consolidate, revise, and streamline its license application procedures for radio services licensed by the WTB (WTB). Specifically, the Report and Order (R&O) adopts rule changes that will implement the Universal Licensing System (ULS), the integrated database and automated processing system developed by the WTB to facilitate electronic filing of wireless applications, licensing information, and public access to such information for all wireless radio services.
