In the Matter of Request of Radiofone, Inc. for a Stay of the C Block Broadband PCS Auction and Associated Rules

In this Order, the Commission denies Radiofone, Inc.'s "Emergency Request for Stay" of the C block broadband Personal Communications Services ("PCS") auction and the Commission's rules concerning the eligibility of cellular licensees to obtain 30 MHz PCS licenses in the same area where they already have 25 MHz cellular licenses.

This Public Notice announces the Broadband PCS C Block auction will commence on December 18, 1995, and will not be affected in the event of a government shutdown after midnight on December 15, 1995. The MDS and SMR auctions will also continue as scheduled.
