                    SPONSORS AUCTIONS FORUM


     In an effort to continually enhance the Commission's auction process, the Wireless
Telecommunications Bureau will hold a forum open to all bidders that participated in the  following
auctions:  Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS Auction #17), Phase II 220 MHz (Auction #18),
Public Coast (Auction #20), Location Monitoring Service (LMS Auction #21), the PCS C,D,E and F block
(Auction #22) , and LMDS (Auction #23).

     The purpose of this forum is to receive feedback from bidders on their experiences with the
auction process.  In addition, bidders are encouraged to use this forum to present specific
recommendations for improving the operational components of the auctions process.  Among the general
topics to be discussed are information dissemination, application processing and payment, and the
overall conduct of the auctions.  Key FCC staff will be available to answer questions.

     The post-auction forum will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 1999 from 1 p.m. to 
3 p.m. at the Federal Communications Commission, Commission Meeting Room, 445 12th Street, S.W.,
Washington, D.C. 20554.  Interested parties must call the Auctions and Industry Analysis Division of
the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau at (888) 225-5322 (press #2 at the prompt) to register.
